Catch and Cook: Spearfishing YELLOW TAIL SNAPPER 🐟 Oven Bake Onboard!

Join us for a catch and cook here in the turquoise waters of the open Atlantic Ocean. We had a calm enough day to take our deflated dinghy out and have a go at some fish for lunch. Riley chased down a beautiful sized Mutton Snapper, but he escaped. He managed to get his hands on a perfect sized Yellow Tail Snapper instead which I threw in the oven with a bunch of veggies. I’ve eaten a lot of fish in my life… and this one was well and truly up there!! 🙌🏼.

  1. I’m mom to one of your biggest fans, Amanda Kaczay. We just left her home in Nassau last week after a great time exploring and being on the water. Her boyfriend, Aztec King, is native and has a business, Bahama Boat Excursions. I think you may meet them if you use Palm Cay Marina. I’ve enjoyed your adventures, and value your generation’s ability to follow your dreams. So, regarding advice with the baby coming… scope out your options, but then play it by ear. Each child is different, and there is no “right” answer! Looking forward! Suzie

  2. I love it that there aren’t huge storms about just now. Elayna, you are getting quite preggers, and I hope that you are enjoying at least parts of it, at least when morning sickness is not an issue. Riley, I wish you both the best.

  3. Ok that’s got to be my favourite episode to date. You guys are total froot loops…I love froot loops. Any one that did not enjoy that has no pulse.
    That snapper was culinary porn.
As for your dinghy you’ve probably already tried this knowing your resourcefullness but try a bit of water and detergent (technically referred to as Leak detection solution) in an atomizer bottle like us gas fitters do to find leaks.
NEVER EVER fill your inflatable with volatile gas and use a match to detect holes that would proove to be extremely detrimental to both you and your dinghy and would likely leave you in the same predicament as anyone that did not enjoy this episode……without a pulse.

  4. Touche, brilliant I think anyway O.K whatever you guys. Last time I try to give you advise. ( Probably not) thanks though for being you. My absolute favorite dish by the way, but with the addition of some pier crab.

  5. Wonderful scenario – hilarious! Has Steven Spielberg called yet?
Scrumptious looking meal – made me so hungry had to go out and get something to eat!

  6. Hilarious AI spoof. Fair Dinkum guys.

Elayna ,,,you do NOT look “preggers”….One would never know by looking at you.

Excellent job with the fish,,,both the catching and the cooking.

  7. Hi Elana and Riley

The smell of that Yellowtail came through loud and clear and all I could scrounge up was a can of tuna, I don’t have a clue how you did that,
oh well my tuna sandwich was at least somewhat filling. This was zaniest video yet! Sure got my attention. B.T.W. have any suggestions as to how to remove the fishy smell from my ancient desk top computer, have to live with it a bit longer, but the aroma in the house is driving my cat “Toes” bonkers. Riley, when you get that cone of “Silence” working let me know. Send it to me and I will Beta test it for you and report back. My cat snores something fierce when dreaming of fish! With all my love and best wishes. Keep up the fantastic videos, fun and all.
    Thanks Walt, “Landlocked in Florida”

  9. I thought your flux capacitor was amusing, but then when I saw all the pitfalls of your “software/hardware” I could not stop laughing!!
Thank you for that, the best part of my day today (09/23).
