That’s a lot of days of sailing. Hope we calculated that correctly….Join us back in the Azores as we slowly make our way towards Sao Jorge! We catch up with Pete who you might remember helped us out with some rigging back in this episode and Andre gets us out on a Hobie catamaran which was great fun. Hopefully we can have something small for Lenny to sail once he gets a little older. Any ideas of something suitable that wont take up too much room? Be sure to let us know in the comments.

Those are neither dophins nor orcas (at like 2:45-3:00). They are ‘false killer whales’. Only saw them for the first time myself this time last year on a whale watch in Maui. The whale warch crew was super excited because they are pretty rare (like around 275 known ones in the HI islands if I remember correctly). Goodonya for addimg those to your wildlife spotted list!
Get Riley to set up small sail in dingy for Lenny to practice in when he is a bit older. It will be slow and stable! Regards to you all Richard..

We sailed with our son – we left home in our yacht when he was 2 1/2 and returned to the UK when he was 8.
I would suggest that every anchorage you visit you find other children for Lenny to play with (as soon as Covid permits) A kayak was his first transport, it gave him the freedom to meet up with his friends on nearby boats but that was at age 7
