This might be stating the obvious-but has your new dog been to a vet since the dog bite? I would think anti-biotics would be a for sure step in his recovery-but if not, please do find a vet really soon. Young dogs/puppies can go downhill really fast if not diagnosed/treated properly and it would really suck for everyone if he didn’t get the help he needs, as well as good, clear instructions from the vet for you Have a great couple of months sailing!
