Sometimes if you stand perfectly still and listen carefully, you can notice the sound of silence.. That silence doesn’t happen on or anywhere near La Vagabonde! Deliciously robust and exciting new music is such a huge part of our lives and the hull of La Vagabonde is in a constant state of resonation, brimming with good music and good vibes. The best way to enjoy these tracks is with the volume turned up. (mind the neighbours)
It is an absolute thrill to have the ability to type an emotion, a memory or a genre into a search engine on the internet and be sent a plethora of new and interesting music, it’s all at our finger tips, the click of a mouse, the type of a key. In this case it’s all provided here for your enjoyment..

Jack Pen and His Anthropomorphic Orchestra – https://soundcloud.com/ackenandhisnth…
The laid-back, psychedelic sound of Jack Pen and His Anthropomorphic Orchestra is like a step back in time to Retro 60’s California. Somewhere between Pink Floyd, Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix, JPAHAO manages to craft together a blend of music that one might describe as “totally cosmic man”. Featuring his smooth as butter vocals and the even smoother tone of his Stratocaster, you may be forgiven for thinking this is some classic off a vinyl record in a box at the bottom of your Dad’s shed.

Chris O – https://www.chrisokunbor.net
Blues and Roots Singer-Songwriter Chris O has a strong penchant for constructing music that draws the listener into her story telling, her music jumps out at you and forces your foot to tap or your head to bob. Her rhythm is undeniable, her soul shines, all this backed with a strong work ethic and a hectic gigging and recording schedule.
“Chris O is a solo artist, based in Katoomba, NSW. Singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, she arrives at gigs carrying her gear like a pack pony ~ juggling dobro, banjo, lapslide, ukes, and plain ole guitars, just a few of the instruments she plays.”
Frontier Child – https://soundcloud.com/frontier_child…
A Wood https://soundcloud.com/a-wood/tracks
A Wood is as Blues as it gets, ranging from crystal clean acoustic guitar strumming to digging right into lead breaks that do all the talking. Although his tracks lack vocal expression, his guitar work is impeccable, and beautifully laced electric leads fill the gap and then some as he makes the guitar do all the singing. This type of blues makes me want to break out my air guitar and pull various pained facial expressions.
Get Go Getter https://www.getgogetter.bandcap.com/…
Stripped back bass lines and lo-fi garage sounds underpin these Go Getters. However while the recordings sound like they were made in a garage or a basement, it still feels like a soundtrack to summer. Catchy lyrics stick in front of their pulsing, hypnotic rhythm.
“If you like Kings Of Leon, The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes or maybe even the Beach Boys this could be the album for you…”
