Hamilton Island, what a Hoot! Ep. 88

Once again we were out of food onboard, which led us to altering course to Hamilton Island. What a spot! It’s quite unique in many respects… Like, the island has been overtaken by buggies. The electric golf cart type. Its not like there aren’t any cars there, there are even trucks, but certainly the main thing you’re going to see is buggies. People take them to the pub, people drive them to work and most noticeably people use them as a means of transportation after a wedding. With ribbons and a “just married” sign. Really funny to see. We loved it here.

Hi Les, sorry about the confusion caused, you’ll see our first video on the cat mid June 🙂 We’re just taking some time to catch up.

  3. Come on … you must know about ginger tea??

The BEST thing to drink for sea sickness … if you can drink, preferably before you get sick!

    1. My Grandmother always swore by peppermint tea for motion sickness. She always had it on hand as wild peppermint grew down by the creek that flowed through the home ranch. It works give it try.

  4. Thanks for another very entertaining video. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

And I bet those two kids sailing with their mum and dad on their yacht will see more in their young years than their peers will see in an entire lifetime.

First video on the catamaran will be in the next couple of weeks, we’re just a little behind, sorry for the confusion John!

  5. I was confused about the catamaran too. I’ll be watching for your continuing story. I love your attitude.
I’m too old to start sailing as you do but I can live vicariously through you. Take care and enjoy! I’ll be watching.
