Keep reading and you will find a description of each of the musicians, links to their web pages and of course the weekly Soundcloud playlist below. Please help us share these talented individuals to the world by liking, sharing and commenting on this post, it would mean the world to us if you did.
This weeks list of artists is short and sweet, but we hope you enjoy them none the less..
Sense – https://soundcloud.com/sense-band
Sounding similar to the likes of Kygo and Odesza, Sense deliver their own brand of refreshing electro-funk and succeed in awakening the inner wanderlust in us all. Going from very relaxed tracks like “Senegal” (featured in this weeks episode of SLV) to dance floor anthems in the same breath is a challenge for any musician, however Sense manage to do so seamlessly.
Andrew Rothschild – https://soundcloud.com/aroth
Andrew Rothschild creates layers in his music masterfully, taking you through the forest and down the rabbit hole where the conventional rules of music don’t exist. Changing timing signatures, spooky guitar resonates against an unpredictable drum beat that somehow resurfaces to all make sense. A Bluestronica fore-runner to keep an eye on and an ear to the ground for, his latest album SFA² can be found in full on his SoundCloud.
Gotam Sen – https://soundcloud.com/gotam-sen
Gotam Sen has been featured regularly on Sailing La Vagabonde and its easy to hear why, infectious psychedelic deep house beats slowly riddle their way into your skull, hypnotising you like a snake charmer. His whaling vocals float over music effortlessly and it works like magic! Thanks gOtam Sen
