Using “fake numbers” to prevent a collision at sea. (potentially) Good move???

(Daily Vlog 3 of 21) Just ironing out a few details here and gearing up before the 1200nm sail. I enjoyed making this one, hanging out with Kjell and Adrianne and getting LaVagabonde as close to perfect as I could. Also there is a bit of sea salt on the lens which you won’t want to miss out on. Quality stuff.

  1. Getting Ais is defo a good move id also make sure you have some sort of radar reflector even if its a wrap of tin foil, I work on commercial ships and and have herd the storys off sailing vsls getting run down because they had no lights and didn’t have a strong radar signature, safe sailing x

  2. Don’t want to rain on the parade but curious, did you actually do the crossing at the end of November and just posting it now? I think it is brilliant that you would have several weeks of vlogs ready to go in case you get stuck somewhere. Just curious how up to date they are.

You two seem to be having so much fun and I cannot wait to pull up and join the community in 18 months.
